The Chicago Blackhawks are having a phenomenal season so far and look like they are going to have a great start to the New Year when they play in the second annual Winter Classic. For those living under a rock, the Winter Classic is a new annual tradition that sees a marquee NHL game take place in an outdoor venue on New Years Day. The Blackhawks have been selected to play the Detroit Red Wings at Wrigley Field in the 2009 Winter Classic. With a capacity of 41,118, Winter Classic tickets should be some of the hottest (coldest?) of the year. Lets hope the funk of the Cubbies doesn't rub of on our Blackhawks.They are having a great year and I think this game should only help their cause. Its been a great year for Chicago Blackhawks tickets, but this is something else entirely.
